We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join our growing team. Our work includes custom PVC and wood decks (pressure treated and cedar), fences, and custom carpentry. This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build and install custom PVC and wood decking systems with precision (framing, stairs, skirting, and rail systems).
• Construct fences.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and client specifications.
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently when required.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Experience in deck and fence building is a strong asset.
• General carpentry experience is a must-have.
• Proven ability to read and follow construction plans.
• Proficiency with basic carpentry tools.
• Able to perform deck construction procedures from framing to finishing.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and a good communicator.
• Work well in a team setting.
• Must have own hand tools/tool belt (larger power/specialty tools are provided).
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Safety certifications: WHMIS & Working at Heights/Fall Arrest required (training available if not current). First Aid certification is recommended.
